Principal

Happy New Year to our Byemoor School Community!

I hope that everyone had a restful break and enjoyed the extra time at home with their families.  We are excited to be back at school.

Rapid test kits will be sent home with students when they arrive at the school.  Masks will be distributed to students each day on the bus or upon arrival. Please continue to monitor your children for any symptoms and please keep your children home when they are not feeling well.

The Christmas Concert was a highlight of the Christmas season and I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. It was so nice to see many faces. I did send out the dress rehearsal video so if someone wasn’t able to attend, that is available on the Byemoor Parent Info Facebook page.

Speaking of Facebook, we will be starting a new Facebook page specifically for the school. This will be a public Facebook page as it will link to our new website. Please watch for your invite to join.

January will see a few different activities in our school. We always look forward to our hot lunch days, but this month will also see Family Literacy Day, Nothing Day, Chocolate Cake Day, and a PD day at the very end of the month. Our Maker Challenge this month is Anything But a Bag Day.

Usually in January/February phys ed classes take the time to enjoy some skating at the Endmoor Arena. Thank you to the Sullivan Lake West Ag Society for allowing us to use your wonderful facility. Parents, please remember to contact the school  as soon as possible if your child does not have skates or a helmet in order that we are all ready when skating begins.
